Damson

Damson is such a beautiful word ! full of contrasts.

"small dark purple plum" says the dictionary. "Dam" blocks up, restrains, keeps it all inside, and "son" : or sun, on the contrary, outward generous fruity warmth.
The colour blue seems to contradict all this, but the taste, the damson taste !

On dirait un prénom aussi.
