How soft a caterpillar steps

How soft a Caterpillar steps --
I fond one on my Hand
From such a velvet world it comes
Such plushes at command
Its soundless travels just arrest
My slow -- terrestrial eye
Intent upon its own career
What use has it for me --

Emily Dickinson

Libellés :

A dying tiger

A Dying Tiger -- moaned for Drink --
I hunted all the Sand --
I caught the Dripping of a Rock
And bore it in my Hand --

His Mighty Balls -- in death were thick --
But searching -- I could see
A Vision on the Retina
Of Water -- and of me --

'Twas not my blame -- who sped too slow --
'Twas not his blame -- who died
While I was reaching him --
But 'twas -- the fact that He was dead --

La vache

Par les prés séverins j'ai rencontré Armand Robin;
Il cherchait un sanglier, c'est moi qu'il a trouvé;
De verbe en herbe, moi sans verbe, l'entretien fut
très bien...
... Il est parti, broutant du bord des dents mon idée.
